Our Environment

La "MATINE" is located between the small ports of Bélon and Doëlan... Brigneau and Merrien.

Certainly, one must go there to fetch oysters (from Bélon)... shellfish, langoustines, and fish upon the arrival of fishing boats !!

The coastline here is wild and protected, alternating between rocks, fine sandy beaches, and almost private little coves.

The rias and the abers add to its charm: these are peaceful and green enclaves that offer numerous walking trails.

Nearby are Pont Aven... Concarneau... Le Pouldu... ( with their museums).

There are numerous summer events :

- Interceltic Festival in Lorient

- Cornouailles Festival in Quimper

- concerts in the chapels of Riec sur Bélon and Moëlan Sur Mer.

Throughout the summer, beautiful small chapels are open exceptionally to host "Art in the Chapels".
